Suit by Tom Ford

I’ve become a bit of a Tom Ford fan. When you wear one of his suits, you feel different in it, confident. The suits are of such a high quality; it’s everything, the fit, the fabric, the cut, it just oozes quality. There’s nothing better than going to a high-powered meeting in a high-powered suit.

Shirt by Tom Ford

I tried various different shirts with the suit and would always feel the shirt was not high enough or the collar was not large enough, so the Tom Ford shirts fit the suit better.

Tie by Chanel

My wife Heidi bought this as a gift for me. She’s a Chanel addict. This has become my favourite tie. I think she thinks she’s created a convert.

Cufflinks by Tiffany & Co

These were a present from my daughter Emily for my 45th birthday. They are silver with a ribbed edge to them and are very sentimental and understated. Sometimes I see people with ostentatious cufflinks and I don’t think that’s what a cufflink is meant to be.

Watch by Rolex

When I do something in my business that’s memorable, I buy a watch because often in business, you’re quick to forget and I don’t want to. I purchased this particular one [a platinum Rolex Daytona with a black crocodile strap] in 2007 when I sold the remaining interest in my festival company.

Shoes by Church

I look at Church shoes, which are made in Northampton, as very robust, very sturdy. Depending on where we are, there can be a lot of mileage covered at night while walking around our venues. These are timeless and go well with the clothes I wear. My grandfather said you could always tell a man by his shoes – in terms of what he had on and how clean they were – and I think he was absolutely correct.

Ring by Tiffany & Co

This is a platinum wedding ring with seven carats of diamonds. The diamonds are all on the inside. My wife thought it was funny that the diamonds are on the inside because it means only we know about it. I’ve never found it that cool because I had to pay for it!
